About John & Walking Free

John Edwards is a living miracle, without the miraculous intervention of God he would not be with us today. Having suffered drug addiction, alcoholism, serious overdoses, hepatitis C, Cancer, liver transplant, and homelessness he is still going strong. Over the years John has started many rehabilitation centres, street outreaches, radio/TV programmes and has seen hundreds of people find freedom from addiction and other life controlling problems.

John experienced near death to life experiences and encountered a life changing encounter with God which changed his life forever.

Walking Free is the vision of John Edwards, who over many years has helped thousands of people walk away from their own hopeless lives into a future of hope and freedom.

At Walking Free International Ministries their heart and vision is to reach out to the lost, hurting, addicted and abused in our society across the world, because they believe that even the most desperate of lives can be restored by the love of God.

Walking Free is based in Bradford, England, and is an autonomous Charity with strong links to its local church, Abundant Life Bradford. They are committed to touching lives through many different outreaches including; feeding and clothing the homeless, discipleship and life skills training, recovery groups and practical support and help.

John believes that no matter what life is throwing at you that with God’s help you will not only get through, but emerge victoriously and with a smile.

John truly believes one thing… that there is no such thing as a hopeless case.
